Have you ever been near water (pool, lake, ocean) on a nice sunny warm day and just wanted to cannonball into it, fully clothed? Today was a really sunny day and after lunch I stopped by a friend's house. He has a pool, and I rarely visit him, so it was a nice hang for a while on his patio. I stodd on the pool's edge looking longinly into the water when my buddy asked if I was thinking about jumping in. I said yeah, wish I could. He said he didn't care, he did it all the time in his clothes (news to me) I backed away from the pool like I was hesitating or had decided not to jump, but that was just so I had a longer start, which ended with a perfect cannonball into the deep end. I was in my jeans and briefs, leather belt, cotton polo shirt, socks and suede sneakers. It felt great and was well worth a damp trip home. My buddy laughed as I came to the surface, saying I did the right thing! He took off his shoes and jumped in with his jeans and T on, and we floated around water for the nedt hour or so, just enjoying the cool water. When we sloshed out, he asked if I wanted some shorts or something to drive home in, but I said it was fine and put a towel on my seat for the drive home. Once I got home, it was straight into the shower for me, to rinse any chlorine off my clothes and hair. Then into some fresh dry tighty whities and I am ready for dinner.
